Main Cast:
Myrtle Thomas- Widow after the passing of her Husband for 62 years, Jimmy, due to a Heart Attack. Myrtle was the typical housewife, and for a time, a saleslady at local Department Store, Jones. Myrtle's 80 years old, and was a Kansas City Transplant, originally from Carroll County, Georgia.
Regina Jones- Myrtle's Oldest Daughter, and a pain in her rear so to speak. Regina's a nine time divorcee, recently married to Ted Jones, and has six Children, each with different Fathers, and numerous Grandchildren. Regina's history will be revealed throughout the show, as she was a product of an accident, while Myrtle and Jimmy was on a trip in Canada in the late 1940s. Regina's the opportunist, and extremely jealous of her Mother and Youngest Sister, Sarah's close relationship, which Myrtle loves to remind Regina about and often.
Sarah Thomas- Myrtle's Youngest Daughter, and "favorite". Sarah's a four time divorcee, and very independent and protective over her Mother, yet gives Myrtle her space, which Regina on the other hand, doesn't. Sarah has three children, and Grandmother to two Grandchildren, and worked with Myrtle at Jones for many years before taking an leave of absence, which will be revealed in future episodes. Sarah's very intelligent, and doesn't take no mess, similar to Myrtle, and her relationship with Regina is "rocky" to say the least.
Ted Jones- Regina's recent Husband, and has three Ex-Wives, and two children. Ted's an alcoholic, and has trouble keeping work, and spends most of his time at "The Veteran's Club." Also adding to Ted's dilemma is the fact he's also impotent. Ted's history as will most of the cast will be revealed throughout the show, as his past is revealed. Ted's a known moocher, which his parents know about, sans his living arrangements.
Mitzi Williams- Myrtle's neighbor for over 40 years, and close friend who's also a widow, after her Husband's passing the same year as Jimmy's. Mitzi's Myrtle's sounding board, and voice of reason and tries her best to keep Myrtle out of trouble, but to no avail. Mitzi was a housewife, and a babysitter for over 35 years, and her 23 year old Grandson lives with her, as he works at the "United Saver" the local Grocery Store, as a manager, and single.
Alberta Woods- A very close friend of Myrtle, Sarah, and Mitzi's, and also a neighbor who lives next door. Myrtle, Alberta, and Sarah worked together for years at Jones, and Alberta's a hairstylist, and married to Ward Woods, a bus driver for the Kansas City Metro. Alberta and Ward have three children, and their youngest Son, Ward Jr currently dates Sarah's Granddaughter, Amelia Carr.
Amelia Carr- Sarah's Granddaughter, and Myrtle's Great-Granddaughter. Amelia's mixed, and was raised by Sarah, following the death of Amelia's Mother, Jenny after a car accident while pregnant with Amelia. Amelia currently dates Ward Woods Jr, and is strong willed like Sarah, yet naive.

William Thomas- Myrtle's Only Son, and the middle child, between Regina, and Sarah. William's history is unknown, and will be revealed as the show progresses.
